How much do I get paid (for artists)?
We exist to help artists and venues achieve a balance in financials.
What this means is that we want to make sure both parties involved are happy with the outcome. The venues are able to make money by allowing artists to perform. In exchange they can request a fee when and if an artist created campaign reaches its goal. Similarly, the artists are also paid when upon the completion of a successful campaign. As of June 24, 2017 RedPine takes 10% of all tickets sold. Venues are paid a fixed fee (which is set by them) and artists take the remainder.

Our goal has always been to ensure that artists are paid the most. They bring the talent, they bring the product and so it's only fair they are the biggest earners.

Additionally, how you are compensated also depends on the type of concert you perform at.

If the concert is a solo performance, you as an artist will make the amount you raise from the campaign minus venue fees, and minus the 10% RedPine commission on all tickets sold.

An artist's earnings from a solo performance can be calculated using the formula below:

Artist Earnings
=
Total Ticket Sales -
(Venue Fees + Total Ticket Sales x 10%)
If the concert is a collaborative performance with more than one artist or band, you are only going to make the full ticket price of all tickets you sell. Now, what does this mean? Well, any fan who specifies at checkout that they are going to the show mainly to see you, they are counted as a ticket sale in your favour. If a fan specifies that they are going to see everyone, or more than one artist/band, that fan's ticket value is split between the artists/bands appropriately.

Venue fees and RedPine commission is subtracted equally from all artists.
An artist's earnings from a collaborative performance can be calculated using the formula below:

Artist Earnings
=
Ticket Sales for a Specific Artist -
(Venue Fees/Number of performing Artists + Ticket Sales for a Specific Artist x 10%)

Note: The term Specific Artist denotes the artist for whom the earnings are being calculated.
